Show us your latest tattoo please :D and you should tell us the story behind it too because that stuff is hella interesting.

Oh my dear anon,

I am sorry I am camera-less at the moment! Tattoo pictures will have to wait until Griffin gets here with its smart phone.

My most recent tattoo is located along my spine and consists of the music from House of Leaves, during Navidson’s fall down the impossible chasm.

Is it okay to simultaneously believe that you don't have any obligation to be kind to anyone ever, and that kindness toward people who haven't hurt you is preferable anyway?

Yeah! Absolutely.

I believe in being kind to people. I try to help people when it is in my power to do so. I have friends, and family, and loved ones and relationships built on kindness and mutual respect and trust.

I fall off the kindness bandwagon at exactly the point where people who are not kind to me are demanding kindness as though they are owed some form of difference for the act of being a shithead to me.

misandry-mermaid:

I believe in both feminism and misandry because not only do I think women need to be empowered and have an equal footing in society, but I think men have a lot of privileges that NO ONE should have, not even oppressed groups. Being able to sexually assault people and not be held accountable or punished, being glorified for taking advantage of others, using power and privilege to hurt and mock those that lack power to defend themselves, being treated like you’re immune to criticism and fault, etc. Saying women should have equality potentially implies women should have the right to do all those things too. No human deserves to have any of those privileges, and to me, misandry is the reduction of some of those harmful and dangerous privileges for men while feminism helps empower women to have a higher value in society. Misandry means holding men accountable for the past and current atrocities they have commited/are committing and making sure that pattern can not continue, no matter how “equal” women seem to be.

The only way we could actually have equality is if white cishets were denied basic human rights for thousands of years.

On this note

I don’t actually want equality

I don’t want everyone to have all the privileges that white cis het males do like, for example, getting away with rape, or enjoying disproportionate economic success at the expense of others

Wow, I thought it was some complicated thing for no reason. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. Also, don't let those anons get you down. I may not be as educated as you on the subject since I really just came out to everyone and finally accepted who I am as a person....but I respect you a lot for standing up to them.
